At the coffee hour on February 24, St. John's was happy to celebrate The Rev'd Lloyd Prator's twentieth year here as rector. The Rev'd Samuel Cross gave a tribute to his work in supporting us through our pains, sorrows, and successes. Two symbols of St. John's future growth attended, the Misses Ella DiMeo and Josephine Lorraine. It was discovered that both shared the same birth date, February l, 2008....Speaking of birthdays, David De Porte celebrated his on Easter Day. The next time Easter falls on his birthday will be in 250 years. Again we thank Father Prator for being with us. (He also preaches good sermons.)
