Evangelism
Committee Report
The Evangelism committee is in its infancy. It was created
at the end of 2005 and members began greeting separate
from ushers in December.2005.
The work of the committee involves greeting all who
come for worship especially the newcomers and visitors.
To make a new person feel comfortable and welcomed leaves
a lasting impression of the congregation and the church.
Everyone at St. John's is friendly and cordial, but
to designate a few to look after the visitors and new
comers’ needs makes more sense, be it answering
thier questions, guiding them to coffee hour or intrducing
them to other members and the rector.
The committee will follow up with visitors and newcomers
and help them remember St John's with fondness and possibly
continue to worship with us in future.
As we evolve you will hear more about our progress.
We need more greeters; if you are interested please
