Thursdays With the Old Testament Continues

It has been suggested that, just as in the very early days of Israel’s history there had developed a cycle of stories concerning the Patriarch Abraham, so there had existed a similar cycle of stories about the Matriarch Rebecca. In these sessions we shall examine the material in the Book of Genesis concerning Rebecca and her place in the narrative of the so-called patriarchal period of Israel’s past.
