Annual Parish Picnic

At Waverly Farm Slated

for July 26

It’s that time of year again to be thinking of Addie Richter’s annual picnic for the parish at her farm in Hackettstown, New Jersey. The sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the Common Room. Transportation on an air-conditioned coach bus (not a school bus) to and from the farm will be arranged with a cost of approximately $27 per person payable in advance. The exact cost will be announced shortly.

Plan to meet at St. John’s at 9:45 am. We will depart at 10:00 am SHARP. We will leave New Jersey at 4:00 pm with an estimated arrival time of 5:15 back at St. John’s. For those wishing to travel by train, several New Jersey Transit trains run to Dover, New Jersey (check the schedule for times). A cab from the train station to Waverly Farm runs approximately $40 plus tip.

If you are bringing a small child, please bring your own car seat. The driver will not transport small children without a car seat nor does the company provide them (for sanitary reasons).
