Gay Pride Sunday!

The gay civil rights movement began only a few blocks from St. John's in the heart of the West Village.

After the 11 a.m. Eucharist, many of our of members and friends – gay and straight alike – proceed to the parade site and march down Fifth Avenue under St. John's banner. We invite you to join us in the march.

He is coordinating the parish presence in the parade.  Plans include using the new banner we made last year and -- new for this year -- possibly a car to help those who cannot walk that long a distance.  We plan to have some flyers to distribute about the parish to serve as an evangelism tool.  If you would like to help Dennis, he could use some assistance and any ideas would aslo be appreciated.
