Requiescat in pace Michael Johnson (1938 – 2026)
Michael Johnson died on Monday 16 March. Michael was a long-time parishioner of St John’s, sometime vestryman, and Armed Forces veteran, who, with his partner Joel Schlosser (also a veteran), annually laid the wreaths at our Remembrance Sunday Service.
There will be a Solemn Requiem Eucharist for Michael in Eastertide: at 6.30pm on Wednesday 8 April. All parishioners are warmly encouraged to attend. Music: Requiem by Gabriel Fauré and Eastertide hymns. The Requiem is followed by a Reception in the garden or gallery.
